Maintenance

Maintaining your existing equipment is as important as changing the oil in your car.  Without regular maintenance your equipment can begin to fail, possibly leaving you with the need for emergency service and end up costing you more money for repairs.  Kay Home Comfort Specialists (KHCS) will check your existing air conditioning and heating system for common parts that fail.  We'll also run your system so it can be calibrated to it's optimum performance, saving you money and preserving our environment.

KHCS specializes in maintaining:

  • Furnaces

  • Boilers

  • Air Conditioners

  • Humidifiers

  • UV Light

New Installation

At Kay Home Comfort Specialists we do all of the homework for a new installation to ensure that your equipment is properly sized for the needs of your home.  It's vital for  your comfort and the longevity of your system that the proper calculations be performed prior to choosing the equipment to be installed.   Oversized equipment can cause your equipment to "wear out" sooner than expected.  Undersized equipment won't be able to keep up with outside conditions and will consequently leave your home uncomfortable.  Either one will leave you with a higher utility bill.  KHCS will survey and take pertinent measurements of your home, and then use state-of-the-art computer programs to determine the proper size for equipment to be installed.

Replacement

All heating and cooling equipment has a life expectancy and will eventually fail.  When you are having trouble with your existing equipment you can count on KHCS technicians to give you an honest assessment of the problems occurring with your system.  There are many factors that can go into determining the need for new equipment.  However, there are some equipment failures that, without question, create the need for a new system.  When fixing the problem is not cost effective, a new system may be recommended.  Certainly if your existing equipment is putting you and your family in danger, replacement is a must.

When your existing equipment has met it's end, KHCS will again perform the proper measurements and  calculations to determine the best fit for replacement equipment for your home.
